Update November 2020: Following the recent government annoucement of a new lock down, Betherseden Village Hall will close from Thursday, 5 Novemeber. We hope to be able to re-open post lock down in December depending on the government rules at the time and demand.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been necessary to introduce some additional rules about using the Hall; these are shown below in the Supplemental Terms and Conditions of Hire. It will also be necessary for all events organisers to complete a risk assessment before hiring the Hall. Please contact Paul Savage at: paulsavage968@btinternet.com or on 01233822077 for details before making a booking in the normal way through Don Amos.
Village-Hall-Hirers-Supplementary-ConditionsLocated on Forge Hill, our village hall is a much cherished resource, and makes a great venue for all those gatherings that you cannot fit in your home like wedding parties, dances, quiz nights, jumble sales and children’s parties. It is popular with village clubs and societies and has a well-equipped modern kitchen and a large car park.
The hall has a new PA system which includes a CD player and cable for ipods and MP3 players. It has a “loop” facility and is therefore beneficial to those with hearing aids.
