St Margaret’s Garden Fete August 2016
As you can imagine we all kept our fingers crossed for fine weather , and boy how lucky we were. The day seemed to go really well and all who attended appeared to be enjoying themselves. The gross takings this year were £3488.72. A poster will be placed in the Church Porch with the nett figure once all expenses have been finalised. It was really quite incredible once again to have so much help and support on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
The organisers would like to thank everyone who was involved with this year’s fete in any way for all their kind help and assistance. A big thank you to Tim Stubbs for hosting the fete once again in his beautiful garden. A special thanks to Madrona Nurseries and Marchants of Bethersden for their generous assistance with produce and food. In addition, thank you to all of the people who helped with setting up and dismantling all of the equipment and to the stall holders and their helpers along with those who provided so many items for sale or for prizes. And thank you to all of the people who came along on the day to support us.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
