St Margaret’s Garden Fete

June 11, 2016 by Bethersden Parish Council

St Margaret’s Garden Fete, Monday 29th August 2016, 11.30am-4.00pm

We are delighted to say that Tim Stubbs has invited us back to the lovely garden of Street Cottage Bethersden, for the Fete on August Bank Holiday Monday.  This is an ever-popular location for an exceptional event which attracts people from as far away as North Kent and Hastings, raising important funds for the church fabric fund.

Ploughman’s Lunch will be provided, as will afternoon tea. Or you may prefer to sample the barbecue.

We would welcome any help anyone may feel able to offer to swell the funds by providing things for sale on the stalls, which will include Plants Fruit, Veg. and Preserves, Cakes, Tombola Prizes, Books, Raffle Prizes, Toiletries and Costume Jewellery, and Bric a Brac.    Hardware can be left at the back of the church by special arrangement, while food and any valuables should be brought to the garden early in the morning of the Fete.  We shall be particularly grateful for any ideas for new games, or offers of assistance on a stall or a game.

Please contact Arthur Gammon on 01233 335452, preferably at weekends with any offers of assistance.
